You were part of that great Senior class that won a ton of titles that year. Didn't Dave Porter who was Heavyweight champ, throw Shot for the team as well? I remember Charlie tried to teach me how to get over the hurdles, but I never could master it and Coach Campbell (baseball) and Corbett (band) always had us running laps when ever we messed up.

I guess you were also on the JV Basketball team as well as track in your sophomore year. I probably saw you on the JV squad as the pep band was setting up for the varsity game, but we usually came in late in the 4th quarter. Otherwise, I can't see anything in my 63 Oracle where we would have crossed paths, and of course I was gone after that.

Never was enlighted with track since I played Varsity Baseball and had our own "track coach" in Coach Cambell and marched in the band that had another "track coach" in Corbett. Either made you do "laps" after making an error.
