You're invited to join a new group I'm starting for 60s grads (and earlier), since there aren't enough of us to have a separate group for each class. Hopefully it will serve as a nucleus to make the site more attractive to others to join.

I just saw your comment from the 28th. It didn't show up on my page. I think you're right about Russ. We probably saw each other at lunch time.

Russ was a good friend, so that could have been it although I worked in the cafeteria during lunch hour so I could eat free. Phil was a neighbor in early elementary, but we didn't connect much at Sexton.

I dropped into South Baptist church from time to time. Russ Potter (also '63) was one of my friends going back to grade school, and he was a member. I went to several youth activities with him. Apart from Russ, I hung out with Phil Phillips and Dennis Kazee a lot. Russ, Phil and I usually sat together in the cafeteria. Dennis was a year behind us and didn't mesh as well with our schedules, but lived just around the corner from me on Saginaw. I've lost contact with all of them, and so far they haven't turned up here.

I sort of figured those were grandkids. I never got to the kids part, myself, which kinda rules grandkids out.

Hey Roger! Mom told me you found this place. (You need to get her to sign up!)

Cute picture of you and the girls. See you in a couple of weeks!

Well, that makes three of us from '63. I've been trying to remember just where I would run across you, but your face in the Oracle is familiar. We didn't have any activities in common, but must have been in some of the same classes or would sit at the same table for lunch. I was in the band and a couple of language clubs, you were in the rifle club and we wouldn't have been in the same homeroom, so we didn't run across each other in any of those contexts. We did somewhere, though. Maybe you recall. I have a list of the teachers I remember on my blog page, and what I remember about them (Ritchey, Eiserman, Doelle, Cooke, Corbett, Mann, Kimball, Gault, Benson, Reid, Rentschler, Ritchey, Forster, McConnell). You must have been in at least some of those classes.
