- My name is John Powe aka J.Poww I came out in 89. You might remember me as the guy that used to bring down the house in all the talent shows. And alot of you so called rappers back then remember how me and Chris Carnigie would BLAZE any and all competition that came are way.
I was also a ALPHA Esquire AAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Well as most of you know I took those yrs of singing in Mrs. Holley's class and put it to good use.
I am one of the lead singer in the GOLD SELLING R&B Group U.N.V. We enjoy MAJOR sucess on Madonna's Label for 7 yrs. Scoreing two number one hits, four top 10 records. Are biggest hit you may remember was called Something's Goin On which by the way I wrote. So thanks to all that bought it, cause I'm still gettin royalty ckecks.
I have four beuatiful children three girls one son, and they are the best thing that ever happen to me.

- Well lets see, I own and operate my own Independent Label called POWWER MOVES RECORDS LLC. distrubuted through WARNER BROS. I also own and operate my own realestate company POWWER & ASSOCIATES. So between the two lets just say GOD has BLESSED me "TREMENDOUSLY". I'm currently getting ready to release my first solo R&B album intitled J.POWW THE HEADLINER so look for it first quarter of Jan, 2009.

However I did do what they call a imprint deal with VIRGIN RECORD, it allows me to keep my label POWWER MOVES and operate under the parent company as a subsideraie. Meaning I can still keep control.
Virgin Records houses some of the biggest names in the biz, Janet Jackson, Lenny Kravits, J.Holiday, Avant. Bobby Valintino, and now LANSING's own JOHN POWE aka J.POWW

I NEED YOUR SUPPORT ON THIS ONE
My rep from Warner thinks you can't sell product from sites like these, they say 90%
of you won't support me with this album for whatever reason. So I bet the rep that 50 of my SEXTON BIG RED FAMILY would support and buy 1 cd and show we support our own.

J.Poww's NEW SINGLE "ALL OVER AGAIN" Feat "Q" of 112 PLAYING ON POWER 96.5
So after sending two song's out for research radio stations have decided to play both.
The first one was 'Y Can't She B U" the second one was "All Over Again" Feat Q from 112.
