So when are we doing this thing? June is nice because it's not too hot...but July is looking good for that weekend of the 16th when there is already a Sexton mixer at the Nuthouse on Fri.night. Or is that weekend already too packed with other events?
I had a wonderful time last year! This year is my year to go home to Beaver Island for the holiday and so I will be gone that week! :( Please post lots of pics!!!
Looks like fun! Reesie's pups are due that weekend tho so I won't be going anywhere out of town for a couple of weeks. :( Have fun!!! Take lots of pictures! :)
I would LOVE to make it but my dog is due to deliver her first litter on that Sunday. If they come early, I'll be there! If not...well I'll be there in Big Red Spirit! :)
Jamie Hope had a great idea. We all should get together and have a tailgate party for the Sexton Homecoming Football game against Mason, on Friday October 16th 7pm.
ok dina, i got it figured out. :) i will come for the afternoon but can't stay over because i need to be back in GR to get my kids back from their dad after the Whitecaps Baseball game (night game). What can i bring for the dish to pass?

- I don't know how many of you remember me...I was always in your neighborhood...on Avalon St. around Pleasant Grove and Holmes...My folks sent me to IHM/St Casimir until they decided to build a house and sent me to Sexton for my freshman year--before moving me to DeWitt my sophomore year. I gotta say it was a HUGE culture shock to go from Catholic schools to Sexton...I went from a school with no more than 83 kids in 3 grades to one with over 2000! Debbie Englebrecht and Rachel Villarreal showed me how to get along though. :)
Now I'm a mom of 3 wonderful kids. I am a small business owner and I just moved to the Grand Rapids area. I LOVE it here! I'm only 30 min from Lake Michigan! :)
- What Are You Doing Now?
- I went to school for nursing but my creative side won out. I finished a degree in interior design and I co-own an interior design business. Since things are slow with this economy--I started a second business and now I also have a dog kennel and groom dogs. Raising my 3 kids is my best and biggest job though!

- What a small world. My friend Bob Denczek and I were really invovlved in the youth group when I went there. We used to make deserts for the fish frys. Must have been just a couple too many years in front of you. Of course your looking a lot younger than me :)
