We dissected frogs and my lab partner went nuts and mutilated our poor frog. He's probably sitting in a jail cell somewhere now... animal mutilation is a warning sign, right?

Don't forget the "fudge factor" if she liked you she would add 20% to your grade and if she didn't....you loose 20%

When I had Mrs. Black we disected a shark. I had advanced biology and the only thing that got me through was extra credit. (this was before recycling) I wrote a really bizzare paper on what I saw at the planetarium and she loved it and gave me full credit. Other people in the class were pissed!

ooh yeah .. i had Mrs.Black yes !...she did challenge her students but i hated (with a passion.. maybe 2) that class... i had her twice ...failed one and passed one ...LOLi made it a point not to be late the second time around

I, for one, really enjoed Mrs. Black's biology class. It was very tough for sure, but she was cool. Ok, so I was pretty much a nerd, but I am what I am..LOL

Anybody here from Advanced Biology? I swear, all we did was talk about drinking and sexual encounters the whole class. I think it was me, Tina Ruff, Jon Garcia, Marc Kasier, Tracy Barber, Larry Hengesbaugh... Who else? I'm sure I got a B but I always thought the best part was we got to drink Coke in class.

I used to live by the Blacks' and every summer the neighborhood kids would get together and swim in her pool!! I was amazed on my first day freshman year when I walked into biology and she was the teacher! She was great and always challenged her students.

Yes, she gave out credit for collecting and emptying the recycle bins. I used to volunteer to recycle just so I wouldn't have to watch Adam and the other guys mess with that dead cat they were dissecting.

didn't she give extra credit for collecting recycling? i used to have designated ass kissing time every day, but she still constantly put me out in the hall. thanks angie and susie for filling in the dittos!

I took this class twice! Mrs. Black (Charlie) called me out in front of everyone. "Guess I will see you again!"
