My blood is no doubt Blue and White :-) Representing Jackson State University in Jackson, Ms. My first step on Jackson State Universitys campus was in 1999, and knew that was the place for me and no where else. My school was truly love at first site. Look at this good product of an HBCU!

That's southern hospitality for you! I spent alot of time in New Orleans (my father lived there) before college and miss the flavor and warmth of the people. I was at my 10th year reunion (technically 11th year due to Katrina) and the campus was beautiful. During Katrina there was +25 feet of water on campus, but all repairs were complete. Sadly many of the people that made New Orleans what it was (the vibe, etc) are no longer there.

Yeah, I gotta say Xavier was beautiful! Was? Is? I'm not sure.

If not for some kind students we met there while on a hasty road trip to Mardi Gras, we'd have been sleeping in our cars!!

I attended HU - Hampton University for undergrad and grad school. I had the pleasure of meeting life-long friends as we experienced growing pains, all-nighters, honed Spade skills, engagements, children, etc. It was truly an experience!

I went to both HUs- Hampton University and Howard University. Met my husband at Hampton U. the day after I arrived for freshman orientation. Extremely grateful to Howard U. as well-as specialty training has put my income on a whole different level. In the future, my little one will certainly attend an HBCU!
